What moko stores

You do not need to create a login. When you use generation or purchases, moko verifies your app installation through Apple and App Attest. Convex stores an Apple app transaction identifier, device attestation keys, a wallet identifier, credit balance, purchase transaction details, credit activity, AI permission and generation records.

Generation records include your prompts, edit source references, generated images and thumbnails, job status, and provider usage/cost information. Prompts and images stay in your private My mascots gallery until you delete your data. moko does not collect your payment card details; Apple processes payments.

AI generation and editing

With your explicit permission, moko sends your written prompt to OpenAI to generate a mascot. For editing, the selected mascot image is also sent. We do not send your Apple account identifier, device attestation keys or payment details to OpenAI. Do not include sensitive personal information in prompts.

OpenAI’s API data controls describe no model training by default and abuse-monitoring retention normally up to 30 days, with exceptions for safety and legal requirements. moko does not promise zero retention. See OpenAI’s data controls and privacy policy.

Providers and browsing

Convex hosts moko’s database, functions, original public mascot gallery and generated images. Apple handles transactions, purchases and device verification. Older app versions and original references in earlier edits may still request legacy images from cdn.ipaslogo.com. Providers receive network information such as your IP address to serve requests. Data may be processed outside your country.

Favorites, grid position, gallery order and pending requests are stored on your device. Images may be cached locally. moko has no advertising or cross-app tracking features.

Usage and service analytics

We use reports provided by App Store Connect and aggregate information from moko’s existing Convex records, such as generation job status, provider usage/cost and credit activity, to understand service performance and use. moko does not include a third-party product analytics SDK or send browsing, search or favorite events to an analytics service.

Your choices and deletion

Tap the moko logo on the home screen to open Privacy & support. You can withdraw AI permission at any time. This prevents future AI requests; it cannot recall content already sent to OpenAI or delete earlier provider safety logs.

Delete my data erases your moko database records: wallet, unused credits, purchases, credit ledger, device registrations, AI permission, prompts and generated mascots. It also removes their original images and thumbnails from Convex storage. Erasure runs on the server in batches; an in-progress generation may need to finish first. You can close the app and check progress later.

Deletion clears this device’s saved drafts, favorites, grid state, credentials and image caches. Other devices may retain cached data until you clear it there. Exported Photos or Files are yours to manage. Deletion is not an Apple refund and does not remove Apple’s payment records. Earlier purchases cannot restore erased credits; using paid features again starts a new empty wallet.

Service-provider logs and backups are subject to their retention and legal obligations and may not be erased immediately with the live database. Support messages are kept while handling your request and associated legal obligations. We do not sell personal information.
